Hello all! I noticed it's been quite a while since I posted anything...I'm not sure what happens. I just get so gosh darn busy I don't get a chance to sit down and create a readable post. :) My mother moved back to her birth place (my birthplace too) in August 2012. I sure do miss her really bad but she is so happy so that makes me feel better and plus it is a great reason to go visit every six weeks or so. I absolutely LOVE the mountains. When I was younger I didn't really care too much about the mountains while growing up from age 10 until now in the Eastern part of NC. It's only been in the past 10 years that I've become somewhat homesick. I miss the beauty, I miss my family and the closeness I feel a family should have, I miss the language and the accent. :) I took a few pictures that last time I was visiting and thought I would come here and share one of them. I have decided that I would try and devote this blog to the NC mountains along with Paula's Creations (even though, I've not even used it a lot for that). Let's see how it goes.  :)

Good evening everyone!!! I found a wonderful quote on a Tshirt that was so true that I created an image with it. I am going to upload it here and then Pin it on my Pinterest account. I LOVE Pinterest!!! It's one of my favorite places to go when I'm "Online". There's so much to see and do!! I get inspired every time I go there. I repin ideas, recipes, images, crafts, and etc..so I can go back later and see them. If you have never been then it is never too late to check it out.

Blog Hopping

Good afternoon everyone!!! Have you ever been "Blog Hopping"?  It's kind of like "Web Surfing" only you go from blog to blog. They are all linked up with Link Parties and such. I LOVE IT!! I have a folder in "Favorites" devoted to blogs! People are so creative and interesting. I just love to see what they write about, look at pictures of their pets, their cute children, the things they make, etc...
I found Google+ by blog hopping. I don't know why I hadn't found it before!!!  LOL anyway...

Happy Monday

Happy Monday everyone!!! I've been so so very busy that I haven't had a chance to come over here and blog a little. I've been working hard on a new website for a non profit organization I'm helping out. Here go and take a look and tell me what you thing...Gracious Designs..

It is a consignment store that sells handmade items from local artists with the part they make going to Faith Christian Ministries. A wonderful organization that helps the less fortunate. There are all kinds of things for sell there. I'll put in a couple of pictures here so you can see what talented people are doing. We have antiques, vintage, handmade, etc... I volunteer there on some Saturdays and really enjoy it. All of the handmade items are made with love and you can actually "feel" it when you are in there. There's even some Lye Soap. If you don't know what Lye Soap is go ahead and look it up and also the uses of. It is a dying art. People like my grandmother used to make it because it was that or no soap all.

Well everyone....it is done. I am now a married woman. My new name is Paula Duncan Tarnaski. 
Everything went great. The ceremony, the reception, the honeymoon, vacation etc
Time to start back to work tomorrow. I am blessed and happy.

Widgets

I have looked at trying to add Widgets (love that term) to my blog and am having a hard time doing so. Can anyone help??  :)
